Pupils Work Through the Grid

Pupils answer each of the 20 questions and shade the matching answer on the grid. If an answer is not on the grid, they have made an error and can check their working. After all questions are done, 5 unshaded values remain.

3

Reach the Target

Pupils add the 5 unshaded numbers or expressions; the total should equal the target for this settler (x = -0.25). Use as a calm starter or early finisher. Ideal for revision and retrieval. Encourage pupils to find and correct any mistakes independently.
